About the Role

We are looking for a digitally-savvy and organised individual to join our team as a Business Development & Digital Engagement Associate. This role blends sales coordination with digital brand visibility. You will help identify new schools, initiate outreach, manage leads, and also play an active role in publishing content across social media channels to increase CBC App awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate is self-driven, digitally fluent, and enjoys connecting ideas with people, especially educators and school leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and build lists of potential school clients.
  • Initiate outreach using WhatsApp, email, or SMS to introduce CBC App to prospects.
  • Maintain a simple sales tracker or CRM to monitor engagement.
  • Support the team in booking demos and following up with leads.
  • Publish ready-made content (graphics, testimonials, updates) on LinkedIn, WhatsApp Channels, and other platforms.
  • Track social media post engagement and prepare short weekly summaries.
  • Collaborate with the brand and sales teams to shape outreach messaging.
  • Adapt simple quote decks, infographics or short posts in Canva when needed.

Requirements

  • Be a decent human being.
  • Be organised and consistent in communication.
  • Excellent writing skills without AI assistance.
  • Familiarity with digital tools like Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, Trello, and Canva.
  • Strong command of social media platforms (especially LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube & TikTok).
  • Excellent etiquette when dealing with colleagues or clients.
  • Must own a fast and powerful laptop and smartphone.
  • Must have access to a fast and reliable internet connection.
  • Have a quiet and comfortable place for remote work.
  • Proactive attitude, ability to manage yourself, and openness to feedback.
